Vodacom Lesotho introduced a cash-loaded campaign called the Mega jackpot last Friday at Sefika Complex where two Basotho walked away with M5000 each.

The competition will run for a year, ending on August 31 2023 and at the end of the round, one lucky customer stands a chance of winning the ultimate jackpot of M200 000 cash.

In order for customers to play and stand a chance of winning big, they simply need to send the word “WIN” to 52077 for one entry or dial *777# to buy a combo of discounted tickets with voice or data bundles; each entry will cost a customer M5 per play.

Customers are eligible to win as many times as possible during the campaign period. More plays increases chances of winning.

In an interview with the Executive Head Consumer Business and CVM at Vodacom Lesotho Tṧepo Thabisi said on a daily basis, customers can win cash prizes from M1000 up to M30 000 while on a monthly basis, a participant can win M50000.

Vodacom Lesotho executive head of brand and marketing Mampine Rabatho said the competition addresses the issue of the economy that has been negatively impacted, and that Vodacom is only giving away cash prizes.

“With cash, customers can do as they please with their winnings, unlike other competitions where we stipulate what prize they are eligible to win.

“We also want to remind our customers about our voice and data bundles that have been subsidized since September last year.

“Our voice bundles now charge per second unlike before and they can call all networks from just M2,” she said.

She said Vodacom Lesotho aims to bring back customers they lost and attract new ones with their affordable voice and data bundles
