Hip-hop artist Unkle Krack dropped his most anticipated hip hop song Run It which was inspired by his undying resilience in the face of hardships artists go through in pursuing a successful career.

Unkle Krack himself produced that song.

The song that was released last week Thursday was inspired by the hardships that artists go through in their lives. These did not deter him from persevering to move on in the music industry enabling him to come up with the hit.

In an interview with theReporter the composer and song writer said the reason he wrote Run is that he was projecting that he can do it regardless of the odds against him and to inspire anyone in their own run for success that nothing can stop them.

He said the core message here in the song is that one has got to believe in oneself no matter what comes in one’s way to reach some goals.

“I am an artist that draws inspiration from real life success stories, where artists despite how hard it might have been on their journey to triumph, plays a souvenir that it is possible, especially when I am an artist that comes from a society that never believed in taking music as a career but a hobby.

“I have reflected on the hurdles that I came across as an upcoming artist up to this moment and thankful that regardless of all, I never folded and I am still pushing through in the industry,” he said.

Unkle Krack comes up from a musical background where his mother was a singer in a church choir while his uncle was in the jazz music business, thus the music influence was always around him.

He stepped into to hip hop from a young age where he was influenced by all the content he would feed off on channel O way back when it was still on SABC 1.

As time went on, he got more access to other platforms like MTV, BET YouTube etc. where he got introduced to a lot more artists that influenced him like J Cole, Lill baby, Anatii, A Reece and many others.

Unkle Krack is mostly known for the great music he produces and writes.

“Music is the only thing that I do in my life, nothing else. Run is a song that poses a hostile takeover, a halt to seeking authority by taking charge. It is me just saying I am tired of knocking on doors but breaking them down, tired of seeking approval and just doing what I do best regardless of everything else so I run the music in such a way that I want. I Run It,” he said.

He is known for songs like Aku Ikhantse featuring Ntate Stunna, Changes album and Big boy shxt.
