Retṧelisitsoe Nthaha, affectionately known to his fans as Kong, has decided to talk about love from the painful side of it in his Experimental Project (EP) which was released on August 6.

The EP is about a guy who is dealing with a heart break until he finds love again. And that is the ups and downs of love.

Kong decided to choose love against insecurities, trust issues and eventually fell in love in the EP.

This was after he realised that most rappers turn to fall in the trap of talking about same things in their songs. Their content is always about money, and being superior. In their lyrics they tend to be more superior than others.

Kong told theReporter during the week that those who are talking about serious stuff are not so much listened to and heard. Those who listen to their songs regard them as having same beat so much that they hardly differentiate one song from another.

“I wanted to challenge myself to make music that you can really listen to and enjoy. So I decided to relate to love from the painful side of it.

“Well the message I wanted to push was about love. The message is passed through the EP as I am not ready yet to make an album or a mixed tape.

“An EP allows me to experiment and still show my listeners how an album would be like,” Kong said.

The EP was fully produced by Sean Clarks. It was released on audio-mack and is out for streaming while copies are yet to be available.
