Local rapper Tṧepo Mphoto, affectionately known to his fans as ‘T- Master’, will release his much anticipated debut album next month.

The Mohale’s Hoek-born rapper revealed in an interview with theReporter that he cannot wait for his fans to hear what he has been cooking on his album.

He explained that the album is a compilation of his life experiences, music experience and a way to showcase the Sesotho language as – in the whole album – he will be rapping in Sesotho.

He said throughout his journey in music, that spans back to 2013 when he started out, he has been preparing himself to release this album.

T-Master explained that his music draws inspiration from local rappers who came before him, the likes of Lipalo, Kommanda Obbs and many other local rappers who croon in vernacular.

“From a very young age I have always known that I will be in the music industry because I loved music very much. It was not easy to break into the music scene just like that, but I am here now and I believe it is a result of hard work and patience.

“On this album also I reminisce about some of my visions and dreams for the future, where I wanted to see myself,” T-Master said.

The muso further indicated that he hopes his album will inspire many other people who are up and coming like him to pursue their dreams. He said it is his way of encouraging his peers in his home town of Mohale’s Hoek.

T-Master’s album will be available in December on all his social media platforms for download and streaming.
