Lesotho is celebrating International Human Rights today.
This year’s theme is ‘Reducing inequality and advancing human rights’.
The Minister of Law and Justice, Richard Mamoeletsi, will deliver the key note address at the commemoration to be held at ‘Manthabiseng Convention Centre.
The event is aimed at creating awareness on issues of human rights by providing education especially to the youth as the major actors in their communities.
The celebration is being held in partnership with civil society organisations including the Lesotho Ex-Offenders Association, Cerebral Palsy Organisation and People Living with Albinism Association.
