The Metropolitan Lesotho Board has announced the appointment of Kelello Rametse as acting Managing Director.

Until this appointment, Rametse was chief operating officer. He replaces Mamello Phomane who stepped down as Managing Director of Metropolitan Lesotho earlier this month.

In a press statement, the Metropolitan Lesotho Board said they expect Rametse, with his deep understanding of business and operational expertise, to ensure a seamless transition and maintain the company’s focus on delivering exceptional service to its clients and advisers.

“Metropolitan has already initiated the recruitment process for a new Managing Director. The successful candidate will lead the organisation in achieving its strategic objectives, driving diversification, fostering growth, and helping clients achieve their financial goals.

“We remain committed to supporting our clients, advisers, and stakeholders during this transition. We are confident that the management and staff will continue to uphold our legacy of business excellence and exceptional service delivery in guarding your best interests,” the statement noted.
