Telecommunications company, Vodacom Lesotho (VCL) has launched a booklet which highlights the significant social investments made by the company over the past three years to uplift the lives of Basotho.
The booklet underscores Vodacom’s commitment to responsible corporate citizenship and showcases the positive impact of its interventions, products and services among Basotho.
It encompasses a range of initiatives aimed at fostering sustainable development across various sectors. These include responsible environmental management, investment in education, access and inclusion, disaster relief and support, gender-based violence initiatives, youth and entrepreneurship support, health sector initiatives, recognition as top employer and innovative solutions.
The booklet reflects the stories of those whose lives have been positively influenced by Vodacom’s initiatives and the collective effort to connect for a better future.
When announcing the launch, Vodacom’s executive head of external affairs Tšepo Ntaopane said: “We are excited to present our Impact Booklet to the public. It embodies our commitment to making a meaningful impact on the lives of Basotho. We hope this booklet will inspire others and show the possibilities that arise when we come together for a common good.”
