The ministry of justice and law through the registrar general’s office will host the 48th session of the African Regional Intellectual Property Organisation (ARIPO) in Maseru from October 28 to November 1.
A statement from the ministry says the hosting of this session underscores Lesotho’s commitment to fostering a robust IP ecosystem and contribution to the region’s development.
The session is expected to bring important benefits to Lesotho that include international visibility, economic growth, intellectual property development, regional leadership, and cultural exchange.
This is the second time the meeting is being held in Maseru after the first one in 2007.
