Members of parliament will take part in a three-day sensitisation workshop on human rights in Maseru from Wednesday this week.
The main objective of the workshop is to capacitate the MPs on the role they play in human rights protection, monitoring, and promotion.
The workshop is both an advocacy initiative and an initial step towards building the capacity of parliament on human rights.
Lesotho is party to international and regional treaties that form part of the global legal framework on human rights.
