‘Mants’ali Phakoana
Prime minister Sam Matekane has appointed Advocate Borotho Matsoso as Commissioner of Police on a three-year-contract with immediate effective.
This was confirmed by press attache in the prime minister’s office, Thapelo Mabote.
Advocate Matsoso is a former director general of the Directorate on Corruption and Economic Offences and also a former Assistant Commissioner of Police.
He replaces Dr Mahlape Morai who has been acting since February this year.
