The owner of My Care Fragrance Nthabiseng Moloantoa-Posholi says constant failure to build up a strong business did not deter her from fighting on to establish one.

That steam in her heart propelled her to think broadly resulting in her founding a My Care Fragrance.

Established in August 2021, it is a registered company that manufactures skin care products which are 100 percent organic.

The products contain organic ingredients such as raw honey and aloe vera.

She decided to go for a 100 percent organic products as they help clean human blood and are not harmful to the skin.

So far, she related, she produces 32 products under her company which are body creams, face creams, bath salts, shower gel and perfumes.

Moloantoa-Posholi said that her products are affordable as they range from only M30 to M140.

She said her most popular products are bath salts, owing to the fact that they are the most selling items. She deeply believes that such products were an eye-opener to most customers to find more about her business.

“My Care Fragrance bath salts are made with essential oils. They are added in water to be used for bathing.

“These salts come in different colours. The various colours are just for presentation and samples for a customer to choose own liking.

“Bath salts can enhance one’s complexion by purifying and moisturizing one’s skin. The salts help to cleanse away dirt, sweat, and toxins, leaving one’s skin feeling fully refreshed,” she said.

She explained that the aromatherapy effects of the salts help the body and mind to relax. Again, bath salts reduce pain, decrease inflammation, relieve internal swelling and decrease stress.

She acquired her skills in China where she was studying but waited a long time before starting the business.

At first, she mixed some skin care products then gave her friends and family to try them out and after receiving a positive response from them she then decided to pursue the business.

She said one of the reasons she decided to establish the business is due to the fact that she had a hard time growing up as she went through uncertainty about her skin complexion.

“I was very dark in colour and I used to get bullied for being dark in complexion. That affected my confidence and self-esteem a lot.

“For that I used to believe that I was ugly because I had not yet found the correct products to use on my skin. That is when I developed a mentality that to enhance my skin, I will produce skin care products myself. So, this is where it all started.

“Right now my skin looks healthier after finding the right products to use for skin type. I am still dark but now I have learned to love my skin and my confidence has been restored. Being dark skinned does not mean that one is ugly”, she said.

She said she also pursued the business because she had come to the realization that women love to look and feel beautiful. This motivated her to produce some products for women in order to give them the satisfaction.

Her business also caters for men skin care products which are supplied on demand.

She can be contacted on +266-56420450 for My Care Fragrance products. They are available nationwide and in some parts of South Africa.
