The Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC) national competition has approached its final stage and is holding a four day boot camp from November 21 to 24 2022 for the 25 final participants.
The EWC is a prestigious business coaching contest, a strategic partnership between the Vodacom Lesotho Foundation (VLF) and Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN).
The boot camp is in preparation for the EWC global finals where the best national project will get an opportunity to compete in the 100 global semi-finalists in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in March 2023.

At the time of going to press, the winner was yet to be known.
Moreover, the top four were also set to get an opportunity to attend a second boot camp in Singapore.
At the launch of the boot camp, the EWC competition manager John Matlosa said that this week marked the beginning of a journey toward s unlocking business opportunities for the young entrepreneurial innovators in Lesotho.
“For many, this will be a life changing moment. We remain truly humbled and excited about being part of what is about to unfold,” he said.
The two organisations have also partnered with other local companies namely the BAM Group Foundation and Business Doctors which will also contribute in providing all the 25 participants in a six month business incubation programme.
GEN operates a platform of projects and programmes in 180 countries aimed at making it easier for anyone, anywhere to start and scale a business.
It works to fuel healthier start and scale ecosystems that create more jobs, educate individuals, accelerate innovation and strengthen economic growth.
