One of the voting station managers at the Unity Primary School voting division in Khubetsoana No 28 constituency, Khauta Tsiane says he is not exactly excited about the turn-out of voters in his station.
Tsiane said the turn-out of voters was too low compared to the huge campaign rallies witnessed in the past few weeks.
He said by 09:05am, only 292 voters had voted across all seven polling stations at the voting division.
“The voting division opened at 7:00 and the first person to vote was the chief of Bochabela, Tolo Maseela who is between 60 to 65 years old.
“I am not fully satisfied with the rate at which voters’ are coming. It is really discouraging if you look the crowds at the rallies that were held since last week,” he expressed.
One of the voters Tatolo Sekepe who last voted in 1998, said he hopes this year’s election will bring about positive change.
The visually impaired Sekepe was satisfied with the service at his voting station.
