Phupu Augustinus Tikoe is an up and coming Mosotho hip-hop artist. These past few weeks saw him release his debut mixtape titled ‘Too Young for Everything’.

The rapper is known by his stage name AJFowdySeven. He described Too Young for Everything as a story about his life and challenges he went through as a young person.

“Too Young for Everything basically explains the social difficulties we encounter as young people whereby when one reaches a certain age, there comes a cloud of confusion on whether one should pursue their dreams or do as they are told.

“This confusion also comes with some mental pressure. I went through the same situation hence I found it necessary to put it on the project. I felt like I am just too young to already know what I want to do in life.

“I felt like I was way too young for the pressure to have everything figured out,” the rapper said.

He started off by rapping and writing lyrics in 2011. The hip-hop artist was already involved in poetry. He realised that and decided to put the talent into rapping.

Speaking to the Reporter he recalled hip-hop music to have been of great influence to his life because although he was still very young when he got introduced to the music genre it changed his life.

“I grew up listening to hip-hop with my father and watching hip-hop videos, which made a create impact in my life. The music even influenced the way I dressed which was not too impressive for my age at that time,” Tikoe added.

Among his other hobbies, the hip-hop star is also a sports fanatic. He plays rugby and football.

He added that he co-owns Stag Bull Events which is an events and promotional company. Furthermore, he stated that he is a fashion fanatic and he runs an online sneaker boutique called Sabba.
