The second edition of Spring Off Road Experience will be held on October 9 and the route will be from Masianokeng to Metolong and Nazareth.

Spring Off Road Experience is an event that focuses on promoting tourism destinations in Lesotho.

Speaking to theReporter, organizer of Spring Off Road Experience, Sefate Motsek,i said the motivation behind the event is to sell tourist attractions in Lesotho. It also showcases car brands in the country and their features.

At the event, those participating do so while their cars, a way that keeps them safe from contracting the Covid-19 pandemic.

“We realised that tourism plays an important part on our country’s economy. At this historic initiative, we take pictures of destinations we visit and post them to promote tourism.

“This event was also inspired by the Covid-19 pandemic because we wanted to revive people to participate while in their vehicles. So it is having fun but also staying safe and practicing social distancing,” he said.

The attractive event, is annually hosted in different locations

Last year, it started in Koro-Koro and proceeded to Roma to end at the Molimo-Nthuse.
