The Entrepreneurs Network (TEN), a non-profit making platform that promotes entrepreneurship, today announced that on November 22-27 it will host its fifth Entrepreneurship Expo in four locations simultaneously. It will be on the North, South and Central of the country and online.
TEN’s chairman, Stephen Monyamane, said the expo will help Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises (SMMEs) to showcase their products. While giving them an opportunity to rebuild their businesses. He said the theme for this year’s expo is ‘Rebuilding the economy’.
“We started this initiative in 2015 and we have hosted expos every year ever since but due to Covd-19 last year we could not. This is going to be a different expo of its kind because we will be showcasing in four locations at the same time.
“We thank the cooperate industry because it has supported us so much by sponsoring SMMEs by buying them stalls. This year we want to rebuild from what Covid-19 had destroyed,” Monyamane said.
The ministry of small business, cooperatives and marketing’s principal secretary Bereng Makotoko congratulated TEN for its outstanding performance. He expressed government’s unwavering support for the inititiative.
He said his ministry is also planning an expo soon as a needed measure to grow and rebuild the economy of Lesotho.
