The Basotho Enterprise Development Corporation (BEDCO) and its partners are calling on all micro, small and medium enterprises to register for the 2021 virtual entrepreneurship expo
Registration started on September 1 and will end on September 29.
The purpose of the corporation is to establish and develop Basotho-owned business enterprises with particular emphasis on the promotion of indigenous entrepreneurial skills.
Speaking with theReporter, BEDCO’s project manager for market access, Tṧepiso Mofolo said for this year’s expo, the corporation is hoping for 200 micro, small and medium enterprises to showcase their products. At least 5 000 people re expected to attend, while BEDC will give training to 15 000 people during the five days of the expo.
“The date for the expo has not been set but we are hoping to host it towards the end of November,” Mofolo said.
