Known for being vibrant and quick-witted, 21-year old Kananelo Malea has recently added modelling to her vision.

Known as Dj Nelo, the energetic hip-hop Dj shared that it all started when she would take a couple of snaps and just felt good in front of the camera.

She said that her poses started projecting her beauty.

Born and bred in Motimposo, Dj Nelo said she didn’t choose modeling, but decided to do the whole photoshoot modelling as a fashionista.

She likes projecting what she is wearing because when she looks good she feels good, and when she feels good she wants to take more snaps.

She told theReporter that her poses started projecting her beauty.

“Modelling portrays an imagine of who DJ Nelo is.,” she enthused.

“It gives an insight of who I am as you know they say what you wear defines you. I always want to project who I am through clothing and hence modelling out and just taking pictures,” she revealed.

“The support and hype is amazing; its people who keep motivating me to do better than what I am currently doing,” DJ Nelo observed.

She welcomed the motivation she received from those who admire her, saying that gives her much-needed energy for her craft

The public relations student revealed that growing up, she wanted to be an entertainer; modelling was not in her mind and she became more passionate about Djing than modelling.

Up to date, she said, she has begun working on her own brand and her ambassadorship at one of the biggest telecommunications company in the country.

She stated that up to date she started working on her brand and has also started on her brand ambassadorship at one of the biggest telecommunications company in Lesotho.

Dj Nelo said that her brother Uncle Krack, her mom and some people close to her are the ones who encourage her to move on with her career.
