A significant snowfall is possible on the high-ground in Lesotho and the Drakensberg from late next week.
A report issued by SnowReportSA today stated that although snow is currently shown, it is an advance forecast, so it could change leading up to the event.
“Early season forecasts tend to be quite volatile, so SnowReport will update the forecast regularly over the next week.
“While low-level snow is not expected in South Africa, snow will likely be reachable by vehicle in Lesotho and near the top of Sani Pass,” the report read.
SnowReport stated that there is also a snow forecast for tonight and tomorrow on their website.
