The Institute of Extra Mural Studies (IEMS) has dismissed as untrue, claims that it has closed down on account of Covid-19 infections on its campus.

IEMS director, Francis Okyre, says the school only limited the list of entries to its premises to control and curb the spread of this virus. He says temporarily gates are open for those who are returning books, those who are dealing with financial clearances at the school’s accounts office as well as those who are registering for courses that they are repeating.

Okyre says academic registrations must be pursued online as no student will be allowed through the gates for that. He urged to those who have had their finances cleared but are yet to register, to call their coordinators for assistance from today.

He also said they are expecting to see this online registration being carried out without any major glitches, adding that all concerns relating to the learning of students, will be addressed online.
