Alliance Insurance Company and Lesotho Post Bank (LPB) today launched a collaboration that will enable clients to utilize the bank’s mobile wallet platform, Khetsi, to pay premiums.

Through this partnership, LPB clients are provided with the flexibility and convenience to pay for their premiums and policies through Khetsi at any LPB agency in the country.

Khetsi is a LPB mobile wallet that can be used on any mobile network, that was designed to make life easier for Basotho.

Speaking at the launch, LPB head of business banking, Mamohau Mapota, said: “Khetsi was introduced in 2019. LPB has grown and has offered services that satisfied a lot of people in the country, from companies to individuals.

“When we introduced Khetsi, we worked with agents, because when depositing or withdrawing money one needs an agent; but since LPB also caters for the well-being of people, we introduced a facility that enables a client to be able to pay their insurance premium through Khetsi.”
