Maluti Mountain Brewery(MMB) donated sanitizers and face shields to the National Covid-19 Secretariat (Nacosec), today at a Maseru hotel.

MMB manufactured and gave over a donation of 615 liters of alcohol-based sanitizers, as well as 7000 face shields made of recycled beer crates to Nacosec to help front line workers who are leading the fight against Covid-19.

MMB’s Country Corporate Affairs Manager, Mathabang Fanyane said the pandemic has not changed their values as a business. They spent over 39 years uniting Basotho with their beer and they believe that they can ensure the safety of Lesotho.

“People are at the heart of our businesses and we have had to step up and innovate. Not only for our team on the ground but also by identifying how to adapt the manufacturing element of our business to help those in need. The health and safety of our people remains our number one priority and we are committed to working with government in any way we can.

“MMB has formed a part of the fabric of Lesotho, and in this time of uncertainty, what we know for sure is that we need to show our commitment to Lesotho. We want to be part of the solution and use what we have to join government in this fight,” Fanhyane said.
