In a quest to give Basotho much-needed exposure, local public relations and events company PR and Brand Network will be having an Instagram live interaction tomorrow at noon with a Mosotho cook and a South African media personality.

An Instagram live is a feature on Instagram stories that allows users to stream video to followers and engage with them in real time.

PR and Brand Network is a digital online creative agency specializing in corporate events, brand innovation, traditional public relations, and communication design as well as cooperate social investments and traditional events.

Their first ever project is the upcoming Instagram live with Nthabiseng Likate, a chef who is a lover of good food and who became quite popular in Lesotho for her passion of cooking and creating delicious recipes.

According to a statement issued by PR and Brand Network, Likate will be going live with SA actress Zenande Mfenyana where they will be discussing different nutritious quick meal plans for new mothers, families and working individuals as well as the significance of cultural exchange.

Zenande Mfenyana is a South African model and actress. She is known for portraying Noluntu Memela on SABC 1’s Generations and Goodness Mabuza on Mzansi Magic series, The Queen.

“The Instagram live will be showcasing the idea and great opportunity to celebrate passion for food as Zenande is a new mother and Likate’s favourite actress.

“The Covid-19 national lockdown was a major contributing factor because a lot of restaurants closed down and people had to find ways of creating their favourite meals for themselves.

“Social media therefore became an essential place for food lovers to learn ways of re-creating as well as finding out how doable it was to make their favourite takeout meals in their own kitchen.”
