One good thing about Covid-19 is that it looks set to accelerate the adoption and appreciation of technology.
This was mentioned by National University of Lesotho (NUL) Student Representative Council president, Reatile Makateng, who said despite the challenges they may have encountered with the shift to online learning, there are some positives to take from the new dispensation.
NUL signed an agreement with Vodacom and Econet to introduce THUTO, an interactive online platform for staff and students, which offers students and lecturers efficient online teaching and learning ecosystem where course resources and evaluation materials can be shared and accessed conveniently.
“I think Covid19 has taught us a lesson. We live in the fourth industrial revolution where everything is done electronically and remotely, thanks to technology,” Makateng said.
