The Coalition of Health Professionals Association (HPA) has announced that there are two health workers who have tested positive for Covid19.
In a statement on Thursday, HPA said one of the health workers is symptomatic while the other one is starting to display symptoms; they are both in a stable condition.
HPA advised its members to always adhere to infection control measures at all times. “If at any circumstances you feel that you are working under unfavorable conditions that may pose a risk, do not hesitate to inform your respective associations.”
This comes after Seboche Mission Hospital in Botha Bothe revealed it had registered three cases of Covid-19, one of whom is an employee of the hospital.
The hospital indicated that while it goes about contact tracing and screening, the management has effected a temporary suspension of services in order to ensure safety of employees and the general public until further notice.
