LUCT donates COVID-19 PPE

The president of Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Paduka Limkokwing has donated protective masks worth M180,000 to support front liners in Lesotho who are currently serving the nation during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Limkokwing University is an international University with a global presence across three continents. With over 30,000 students coming from more than 150 countries, studying in its 12 campuses in Botswana,  Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Lesotho, Malaysia, Swaziland, United Kingdom and Sierra Leon.

The University has established worldwide recognition through its innovative brand of creative education merging the best of east and west education.

Speaking at the handover at the National Emergency Command Centre, the registrar, Moroka Hoohlo stated that on behalf of Tan Sri Limkokwing, these donations were presented by Limkokwing University Lesotho to the ministry of communications, science and technology and to the ministry of health respectively.

“This personal gesture by Tan Sri Limkokwing is part of his global campaign, “Heal the world” which also strives to make the world a safer place, especially for the front liners who are dedicating their lives to saving the lives of others,” Hoohlo stated.
